It’s up, it’s stout. It should last me a few years at least. Makes a nice shelter for work aboard, out of the wind, rain, sleet, snow etc. Kind of like having a cozy club house to go play in. Ship’s time is GMT, and I figure your chronometer below would also be GMT! PLUS then we could take star shots while having cookies!
The boat is on the hard, position is known. No need to shoot stars, nor is there a visible horizon to shoot stars with. Ships clock is local time. You think you know everything.
Ship’s clock is local time? So when you’re sailing, how do you know when you cross a time-zone?

Benji Congrats! Your pics look beautiful. Are you sure this is your boat? Well, I think you did a good job and I am so excited to see what you will do next. You boat is coming along and will surely be sailing with mine this summer.

Boat looks great! Can’t wait to see sailing videos again. Actually I wouldnt mind seeing varnishing videos as well… I am still trying to get the glassy gloss. Anyway, I have a nonBCC question if you have a moment… the Nor Sea that you had… you used to sleep in the aft cabin athwartship… I have been thinking about getting a Nor Sea and wondered how wide it is there. I am six feet and wondered if I would fit? Good luck with Elizabeth!
